Alex Teoh
Founder, Managing Director
Alex Teoh is the founder and managing consultant for Keysense Consulting, overseeing the training and services in Australia and the Asia Pacific. Alex started his career implementing TPS in an engine assembly plant and held key operation posts in a global company before becoming a lean consultant in the mid-90s. He has accumulated extensive track records and involved in various in-debt lean transformations across a wide spectrum of industries. For the past decade, Alex has been researching how to make improvement stick and exploring various operation excellence practices, leadership styles, and coaching techniques. He is an advocate for enterprise excellence and is a certified facilitator for Shingo Institute. Alex holds an honors degree in Industrial Engineering. He speaks fluent English, Chinese, and Malay.
Chris Butterworth
Principal Adviser
Chris is an award-winning author, speaker and coach. He is a world-renowned facilitator of Lean Thinking workshops for executive management programmes at various international business schools. He coaches executive teams and transfers knowledge across all levels of an organisation. Chris is also a regular speaker at several International Conferences and he is the winner of Best New Speaker of the Year Award for TEC- The Executive Connection. He is a co-author of three Shingo Publication award-winning books - "4+1 Embedding a Culture of Continuous Improvement in Financial Services" , " The Essence of Excellence " and “Why Bother?” He is also editor of the Shingo Institute book “Enterprise Alignment and Results”. Recently he has published a new book, “Leading Excellence”, with two co-authors. Chis held senior management positions at various blue chip MNCs and was heavilly inloved in leading the first “lean” facility in the UK in 1990.
Helen Xue
Managing Consultant, Greater China
Helen Xue is the managing consultant based in Shanghai, China. In addition, she looks after the business operation for China and Vietnam market. Helen holds an MBA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and master degree in applied chemistry. She is MBB in Lean Six Sigma, and ASQ certified Operational Excellence Expert. She is highly respected within the Lean Six Sigma community in China. Helen has extensive work experience in automobile and consumer electronics, cosmetic packaging, and medical industries. She has held senior posts such as Master Black Belt, Quality Director and Operation Director. In addition, over the past decade, Helen has coached and trained many green, yellow, and black belts for various organizations. Helen speaks fluent Mandarin and English.
