Lean Practitioner Green Belt is a certification program that focuses on the application of Lean principles and tools to improve processes and reduce waste in a business or organization.

A Lean Practitioner Green Belt is an individual who has completed this certification program and has demonstrated a good understanding of Lean concepts and methodologies, as well as demonstrated the ability to lead and implement Lean projects within their organization.

This program is available in two delivery formats:  face-to-face workshops or virtual lessons.   The 4 one-day face-to-face workshops provide an intensive learning experience through hands-on practices.   Alternatively, our sixteen module virtual learning modules provide great flexibility for busy executives.   To complete the certification, each student has to pass a theory test and completed an approved improvement project.

Why Green Belt?

Lean Practitioner Green Belt is the most popular level, providing the most comprehensive pathway to blend theory into practical application.  It equips students to lead improvement or solve real-world problems immediately.

 

Interested in other Belts?

Yellow Belt is a lightweight version of the green belt, minus the practical exercises. Instead, it aims to provide general awareness of lean principles and thinking.  

Black Belt is the next advancement level for the green belt.  Additional learning and personal coaching by our experts are required.  A black belt is an expert in all lean tools and is a proven trainer and coach, at Green Belts.
